Back Story

Nisser, the small, secretive folk of Norwegian farms and forests, are said to live just out of sight and watch over the households that treat them kindly. Even among themselves, their bonds run quiet and steady: a nisse pair tending the same barn through generations, loyal in that stubborn, undemonstrative way of old friends. A little love story hidden in the hay, for those who know where to look.
