Back Story: 

The Three billy goats named Gruff need to cross a bridge to reach greener pastures, but a hungry troll living underneath threatens to eat anyone who tries. The two smaller goats each talk their way past by promising the troll a bigger goat is coming right behind them. When the biggest billy goat crosses, he doesn't bother with words, he simply butts the troll off the bridge and into the river, and all three goats live happily ever after in the lush meadow.
